      for some people it take a really large amount to be able to detect it the first time, in my case more than I ever used again

      I have a hypothesis (re: smoking as ingestion method) most people do not initially know how to smoke. period. even if they have smoked tobacco, it doesn't quite cary over. the deep inhale, hold, full-breath cycle style of smoking cannabis is a learned skill.
