this isn't even reactionary, it's completely incompatible with reality, sex hormones are generic drugs and the amount of profit to be made selling them is de minimis; also if this was a thing then transes wouldn't face all sorts of stupid gatekeeping and denials from doctors

strongly concur; there's a reason i'm strongly in favour of ripping out prohibition altogether and letting people access pharmaceutical-grade medication on demand without needing to be blessed by a doctor's signature
