It is so weird when you realize how much of our mental capacity, how much of our self is now dedicated to regulate the flow of bytes on this insane internet application. When did I decide to do this to my life?

Right? I try to picture the emergent hivemind that is boring itself into the bit wastes while our bodies rot, books go unread, lakes unswum, trees unwatched, houses unbuilt, and I shudder with horror.
