I had never heard of the phrase incel before. And it was not because I am unaware of toxic mysogynistic broflake culture online. But because I did not associate with those sort of people and their forums.

I'd maybe go further and suggest that it's incumbent on folks who want to be allies to examine their maleness, and cultural expressions of maleness, even if they're distasteful or stupid. Because that's the fight we're in.
