Yeah, they desperately demanded validation for their toxicity. I didn't agree that I'd become a different person after surgery, which I guess I was like half wrong about? But not in the way they insisted.

I mean I felt that way before but I didn't feel it so *viscerally* before. I can't imagine saying "this is the best thing I've ever experienced, so everyone else should have to work as hard or wait as long as I did" to anyone.
