I voted to pass a res. regarding net neutrality so that we can reset the discussion & move beyond the politics at play to what is really needed—lasting legislation that'll provide certainty & move us beyond shifting regulatory standards. Watch my statement on net neutrality here:pic.twitter.com/rxV5S96Ojy

Why is it that the GOP platform is "less government" but you people continue to try to regulate the minutae of our lives. Net neutrality needs no further conversation. Free and open use. Period.

Without net neutrality then the internet service providers can act as if this were a communist state and censor what we see and what we do online so in a way this is “less government”

I don't understand the argument that a policy of non-discrimination and equal access for all would be "government control of the internet." The whole point is making sure no one controls it. Please explain. Seems like we all want the same thing.

I agree with you. The Senate reversed it but are now talking about needing to restart the convo. No convo needed. The intwrnet should be free and unfettered to all.

This was the right vote because it represented the will of the people. You'll notice that the reaction to this from your constituents is positive compared to other votes like your votes to raise taxes and health care costs to AK families. Keep voting the will of the people

Thank you Lisa. Now please see this through. The internet, for better or worse, has become a necessity in this world. As such, it needs to be treated as a public utility. To do otherwise will greatly harm our state and the citizens you represent.

Why don’t you switch parties you betray republican voters daily. Retire and go back to Alaska. We had no net neutrality before 2015 and the internet was running just fine. The government doesn’t need to control every aspect of our lives. #traitor #@GOP

How about now you work on lowering prices to match states like California with no data caps on our plans. I'm pretty sure we pay more than double what others do for far less. It's pretty insane.

While you are developing legislation, I invite you to call me about the issues that face small businesses and non-profit websites from Alaska. You should really learn how Alaska uses the internet beyond retail websites.
