W/ strong bipartisan support, the Senate passed Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, & Consumer Protection Act, legislation that rolls back many burdensome #DoddFrank provisions that had unintended consequences for consumers, home-buyers, & small business owners.

This bill protects consumers, veterans and student borrowers as well as gives regulatory relief for community and regional financial institutions so they can get to the business of helping their communities grow. Bill highlights here: http://bit.ly/2peqwZU

This legislation will bring much-needed relief to numerous community, local & regional financial institutions throughout the nation, as well as provide access to capital for our entrepreneurs and businesses, leading to job creation and overall economic growth.

Does this bill retain the provisions of Dodd-Frank designed to prevent another financial meltdown? The Recession of 2009 reduced GDP by about 800 billion dollars a year for at least 5 years, and 8 million people lost their jobs. That was *burdensome*.

The greed of these banks was so profound, that it caused the largest recession in US history. Bundling excriment 💩 and selling it in perfumed and flowered 🌺 packages. How many of Alaska's homeowners lost the their homes and jobs? How many bank donations have you received?

I remember when my retirement plan lost half its value—this law was meant to prevent that from happening again. Regulatory relief—really regulatory recklessness.

and that unintended consequence was, protection of our consumer rights and our savings, from banks gambling away all of it - AGAIN! You are almost as bad as the Dote himself Lisa. Obviously you and the GOP tribe want to forget what you all completed in 2008 - a GIANT MELTDOWN butpic.twitter.com/FNm4rwVX8Q

it appears you have also blinded self as to why that meltdown occurred; CDS trading by the big banks. Now GOP has repealed the bit of safeties for the next 30 or so big banks ($50B-$250B) so that they can start gambling again (with our savings), using CDS and ABS securities.
