Yesterday’s land exchange agreement is a milestone and symbol of the fighting spirit we share as Alaskans. It reminds the rest of the nation that when it comes to our livelihood and the things we care about---we don’t give up. #StandWithKingCove

This $100 million dollar road from a town of 948 people with an existing airport through a wilderness area to a bigger airport is first and foremost a road being built at taxpayer expense for a foreign (Japanese) owned cannery. This is about money, not lives.

Alaskans struggle with access to our representatives. You’re not listening, but people are rising for state of health not oil. Watch us!

I don't mind the road. I do mind teaming up with Nazis, fascists, demagogues, and those who would see our nation succumb to authoritarianism.

If you keep drilling for oil, causing more major earthquakes destroying nature then your gravel road will be useless.

“In 1995 the Alaska State Transportation Plan identifies the King Cove/Cold Bay road as a high priority for improving the economic infrastructure of the Lower Alaska Peninsula area. However, the AK DOT rates the proposed road less safe than a marine link or improved air travel”

Alaska also struggles with a Senator who sold out her constituents. What do you plan to do after government service?

Didn't you just have an earthquake? Better be careful with those pipelines. Your constituency might be wiped out by mother nature.

In 2011, vocal road proponent U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski said, “The decades-old push to get the road built between King Cove and the Cold Bay Airport so that we can have greater access for transportation is going to be a critical ingredient in that thriving economic future..”$$$$
