Logging in the Tongass threatens tourism. So does revoking the Roadless Rule. And seismic testing and drilling in the Coastal Plain of ANWR. And allowing brutal killing of wolf pups and bear cubs on Alaska wildlife refuges. And building a road thru Izembek.
-
Wrong! This is another lie. Been watching this right up front. Was in logging for a long time. The timber industry was an asset to everything especially the Help it gave schools. Was millions every year. Jobs, and a renewable resource. Vast majority of tourist enjoyed it!
-
She’s probably not even from here she does this full time more than likely. They’ve been on the news talking about pd protesters coming here, it’s like a virus spreading. Alaskans take great pride in keeping our state with lots of animals, clean air & land.We don’t want 2b Oregon

Wow, you really love that kook-aid,
-
Better than that cheap malt liquor you seem to be dank on
-
You red X people are clearly mentally unstable. It appears you all get your exercise jumping to conclusions that so for have all been incorrect. SMH.
-
No you invaders are! Stick your script where you sit! And stay out of our business!
-
Hahahahaha, I like that. We have the same problem with the libs seeking jobs that move into our area and try to turn us into the cesspool they left because their policies caused them to leave but their too stupid to understand it!

Every time I see your name, I recall that you were complicit in the DEMS’ organized effort to destroy the life, reputation and family of a good man based on dubious unprovable allegations. You owe the Kavanaugh family an apology- it’s the decent thing thing to do.pic.twitter.com/htS0LDfWDb

Then I hope you apply the same reasoning to Pebble Mine and oppose it because of the potential harm to
#BristolBay. -
@lisamurkowski Pebble Mine poses no risk to Bristol Bay. Alaska needs jobs. Mine Pebble!!! -
There are way more jobs associated with the
#BristolBay fishery than with that damn mine. Not even close. -
Those jobs are mostly foreign fisherman. No risk to the environment so let’s support more jobs for Alaskans.
-
Wrong on both counts! Significant risk to
#environment In addition to comm fisherman: Processing Native Americans Sportfishing Tourism@PebbleProject is a disaster waiting to happen.#BristolBay#salmon is one of the most#sustainable#fisheries on
-
Any facts to prove there is risk? Because $150 million in environmental studies proves that it poses no unacceptable risk. And don’t show me the assessment that the EPA used to veto the mine (it was based on a hypothetical mine & they lost in court because of it.)
-
Ill take facts for 150 million mike o, what is less than 1% of water in Bristol bay could be affected if failsafes failed.
-
In the event of the worst earthquake ever recorded in Alaska, it could possibly affect .01% of Bristol Bay. They have removed cyanide from the mine plan as well. Pebble Mine will literally be the safest mine ever built. The people opposing it do not believe in science. Sad.
