I’ve heard this mostly discussed as protection as a function of the cut (gaiter) instead of the material (fleece, in that case). All else equal, the wraparound cut seems like a great option. Should we be researching/discussing fabric and cut separately?

The material was not fleece, that’s just what they called that style. Confusing, I know. It was 92% poly and 8% spandex, and thin, according to the Zoom media brief I attended.

It was Chaos brand but seemed the same as a standard Buff. The "multifunctional" one is long enough that you can double it over.
