Denver City Council just voted 10 to 3 to decriminalize jaywalking. When the deputy mayor signs the bill into law later this week--since Hancock is away--the Mile High City will join a growing list of American jurisdictions that have moved away from criminalizing jaywalking.

Presumably narrow exceptions include privileged GOP males paying cash under table to “take care of” the little mistress problem.
Years ago, was an engineer working on suburban subdivisions when she discovered Strong Towns & “saw the light." She realized that engineering could be about making places more prosperous & people-centered, not less, so she changed direction.

Another prime example is in transportation "choice" -- many would choose non-automobile options if the infrastructure required for the automobile option wasn't the most heavily subsidized of all infrastructure types.

Gas leaf blowers aren’t just air polluters, they are the worst noise polluters IMO. Pick up a rake! And any other use is just blowing debris from one spot to another. Pointless.
