Um not to point out the obvious but he admitted the other day his own politics trumped the good of the country because he can't deal with the fallout of losing the filibuster, aka being voted out. So you know, he can sit down and be quiet.

Of course, the reality of it is also that it is JM's politics that gave the Dems a Senate seat in a "trump +30" state, and gave the Dems a slim majority.
