    I am sending all my love to today. I have always held him in the highest regard, ans now have nothing but respect and admiration for him. Let’s hope we are moving towards a world where no-one has to come out anymore, they can just be who they are and celebrate that.

    So went up in the loft got all nostalgic assembled my old hifi and popped on a Prince vinyl - this will teach me for being a smug Sally 🙄 it was like listening to Norman Collier (ask your parents!)

    I’d have been labelled as a ‘difficult parent’ at son’s previous school. At his current school I’m labelled as ‘supportive parent’ The professionals & the environment where he is educated have changed, not me. Nurture, inclusion, communication & lawful implementation of EHCP.

    Many parents are one tap away from breaking. Being called "difficult" when it's costing you your sanity is unhelpful.

    I’m pretty sure nobody sets out to be what describes as a ‘difficult parent’. This thread is an eye opener. Teachers, please work with us parents, and don’t get sucked into the pervasive adversarial culture. You can change this. And we can help. If you’ll listen.

    A beautiful story that serves as a reminder of why we are here. Woodlands Meed staff are all excellent and strive to help our children reach their full potential. Sadly they could only do that if the facilities were "fit for purpose".
