More like long live Laminas! Essentially, ZF is spinning off to an open governance model, similar to how Rackspace spun off OpenStack. We'll even be providing functionality to help users migrate to our new packages from ZF.
So we should consider it a new player on the market? That _does_ mean RIP ZF though, it's no more. What are the future plans for the framework?
