    In trying to reduce the impact of our diets, we tend massively to over-emphasise , and under-emphasise the type of food we eat. Even if you shipped bananas 6 times round the planet, their impact would be lower than local beef and lamb.

    If you are a gardener, or buy plants, PLEASE in 2020 make a resolution to avoid your purchases doing further damage to peat bogs. Please only buy any plants in pots, if you are SURE they are NOT grown in peat. Please don't buy any bags of "compost" unless SURE they are

    1/4: In summer suggested, madly, that we should try & restore 50 this year in a project. We'll today, on christmas eve, as the light was fading, we did it... 50!!! 🥳

    3/4: since 2014 has restored >100 , resulting in mega increases in plant & invertebrate diversity, big benefits for farmland & , >20 new breeding pops of & 18 new pops of . It has been well worthwhile!!!
