    I am also getting tired of realising all the ways such disappearances have been used as 'proof' of women's incompetence.

    I am so tired of so-called brilliant men who consume every woman they claim to be mentoring; and even more of the men who laud and promote them and never bother to wonder what happened to the departments and generations of young women who quietly disappeared.
