Maybe instead of wishing violence on this desperate man stealing a trash bag full of items from one of the biggest chains in the country, we could prevent it by investing in communities instead of carcereal punishment. If you think stealing is bad google “civil asset forfeiture”.

Desperate man stealing…hair appliances. Not medicine, food, water, clothing, or hygiene products. Hair appliances. He’s not desperate; he’s a thief who knows he’s not going to be held accountable for his crimes.

poor people have the right to have hair appliances and leisure too. not condoning the behavior, but don’t tell the system isn’t messed up.

And I’ll call your bluff. I’m betting that if this person (on a side note, how do you know they’re poor?) rode their bike through your house, stealing your property, you’d change your tune pretty damn quickly.
