There is nothing more frustrating then living in a district where voting information is so hard to get. I shouldn’t have to spend hours googling, calling and searching for primary information on state level representatives. Voter turnout in my area isn’t great. This is why.

A Providence police officer running for state office as a Republican punched his Democratic opponent, Jennifer Rourke, in the face during an abortion protest last night. He’s now being investigated and has dropped out of the race.

every senator and member of congress should be forced to watch this along with the segment just did about the little girl who smeared her friend’s blood on her so she could play dead - anyone not inspired to act is a monster.

Sen Chris Murphy (D-CT): “Spare me the bullshit about mental illness. We don't have any more mental illness than any other country in the world. You cannot explain this through a prism of mental illness because we don't – we're not an outlier on mental illness.”

Ben Sasse is asking where the “humanity and compassion” is…it was part of the H.R. 2471 bill and countless others you no voted. Put your money where your mouth is.

In an unanimous decision, The Supreme Court struck down a law ensuring a 35-foot “buffer zone” outside abortion clinics, ruling that it violated the first amendment preventing free speech of anti-abortion protesters. Then the Supreme Court erected a fence around itself. Got it.

I don’t wanna hear anymore centrist on the left complaining that progressives are “ruining” Bidens agenda…take that smoke towards your fellow centrist.

Fun fact, Manchin is from a state with about 1.8 million and only around 290k voted for him. Over 81 million voted for the policy agenda of the current sitting president.

We’re apparently playing the “Things you can’t make up” game this morning. So Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett (speaking at a center named after Mitch McConnell, introduced by Senator McConnell) worries that the Court is seen as "a bunch of partisan hacks."

On August 4, there were 53,549 new covid cases reported. On September 13, there were 261,341 new covid cases reported. Interesting how the coverage of Obama's birthday was filled with outrage about the Delta variant but it's barely mentioned in coverage of the Met Gala.

My anxiety has been replaced with sadness. This didn’t have to happen. The video of Chauvin killing Floyd was horrific, but it shouldn’t take a gut wrenching video for people to value Black lives. I hope this verdict doesn’t make anyone feel good about this country.
