Apparently the terrorist who just killed 2 people in London Bridge on Friday asked over & over for help to deradicalise & the police just didn't have the resources. I wonder how this might have been different if the UK had been able to a programme for him.

I get your point but it wouldn’t be the police’s job to deradicalise anyone. He probably asked the prison authorities.
