My spouse pointed out, when I wondered whether Zoom could handle every university class in the country, that I could always switch to meeting my students within World of Warcraft, because the MMORPGs are definitely equipped to handle this kind of traffic.

This is a great idea. We could also use Minecraft, as it's what all the kids already use today, and they use it for chatting and interactions generally. We can build some classrooms in Minecraft, too! :)

I've heard of virtual classes, conferences and such done in second life by some institutions... I personally struggled to run it on my laptop but its a good concept!

This reminds me of a project from yrs ago on a Thelema site I used to visit in my occultist days, we were trying to create a virtual Abbey of Thelema to host on the site, but we never did get anything built. I wonder if we could have built it in Second Life and hosted it there?
