    9/ On our end, there were also mistakes. Nest was handed over three times in less than two years, and we lost record that we had indeed promised a reward to them some time ago. We were also extremely slow in getting back to them. We apologized for that too.

    8/ Instead of going public too, we reached out to the Prysmatic team to discuss the situation. They apologized for going public and were thankful for the support Nest has given them.

    7/ Prysmatic received a total amount of $100k from Aragon Nest. They have done an amazing job and I'm happy that we supported them so early. But after that support, I expected at least a DM to double check with me or a call to discuss!

    6/ Everyone understood and remained grateful (except one team, who insulted our grants manager and was kicked out). Nest is a grants program that gives projects strings-free money to build what they want to build. No equity, no Aragon ads, no governance power, no tokens.

    5/ Since we have such an attachment to Ethereum, we kept most of our treasury in ETH. When ETH hit $90, we decided to cut on expenses. It was hard, but we needed to cut everything not essential. Nest got a hit.

    4/ In that period of time, all we wanted was to accelerate the Ethereum ecosystem. We spent millions of dollars in grants for that purpose. We also had to develop a bunch of things in-house since Ethereum tooling was nascent.

    3/ Aragon Nest funded the first Eth 2.0 implementation, pioneered by Prysmatic. If I recall correctly, we were the first ones funding Eth sharding (before it was Eth 2.0), even before the EF.

    2/ Aragon Nest was the first grants program launched to fund Ethereum and Aragon initiatives. The only one that predates it is the original EF's program, which was suspended at the time.

    Aragon refuses to give Prysmatic Labs their success bonus on their grant because of "bear market". This is 7 days after transferring 10,000 ETH to Bitstamp out of their 160,000 ETH treasury. OK...
