    Our local MP supporting govt breaking the law. And reneging on an agreement he had to back in order to stand for election in December... Clearly been told by central office to shout out support for disastrous PM, or maybe just eyeing the next promotion? No backbone

    I am supporting next week's internal market bill. This is about maintaining the Union of the UK, delivering on a referendum and election promise. Let's get it done!

    Shame on this government of incompetence and chaos. Breaking the law ‘in a limited way’. Would that stand up in court if an accused said ‘your honour I only broke the law in a limited way’? Makes as much sense as saying you are ‘just a bit pregnant’.

    Re Brexit deal, UK can’t break international law in ‘specific & limited’ ways of tells , we have to abide by it. You can no more be half-legal than half-pregnant. We must support rules-based international order.

    So horrified at the number of Conservative MPs who are happily handing control of our food quality to President Trump.

    On train home after late votes on the Trade Bill. I voted tonight to ensure parliamentary scrutiny of all trade deals (wasn't that what "take back control" was about?), to protect food standards and our NHS. Sadly the govt ensured Tory MPs voted down all these amendments.
