My father loved reading the newspaper every morning. I was a smarter kid from sitting next to him at breakfast + talking. I developed a freakish obsession with Dick Tracy + Tess Trueheart.🤷♀️ It's how I first learned about + decided (at age 9) I would move to Alaska!

I am one of those who were laid off from Philly Inquirer today. It’s been a remarkable 3 years filled w learning as a journalist, human, & DEI leader. I’ll shout out colleagues later & post links but for now have logistics of insurance etc to do. Open to job & freelance opps ofc!
