Fortun said the gunshot wounds on the activists were sutured, posing challenges so that one of the 9 was "not autopsied at all." Of the 9, only 2 had clothes submitted with the body. Fortun said clothes were important to examine because bullets pass through them also.

Fortun says they did not get the body fresh. That there was some embalming and some extent of autopsy already done. All bodies "were not in good shape" when taken to UP, said Fortun, posing more challenge.
