The lawyers also called as "reckless" the statement that danger is part of the lawyering profession. This is in light of Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra's statement that lawyering is inherently dangerous.

Guevarra says he never said lawyering was an inherently dangerous profession, said that the word inherent is a spin. Says maybe newswriters paraphrased, and some recklessly commented without understanding context. Here's transcript of what the secretary said:
