That does indeed look great. May I ask how you’ve made the data structure diagrams, by hand or by tool (and in the latter case, which tool)?

the diagrams are just raw Graphviz/dot. A bit finnicky but not bad for a plaintext diagramming format, and with some fiddling it can look pretty nice

You can’t share mid segments, but a Trie with shared prefixes and also shared suffixes is called a DAFSA
