It’s probably time for decent Republicans who arbor racism and love actual conservatism to admit it: the political organization that used to be the Republican Party does not exist anymore. Except in name and office address. Time to start a new conservative party. It is what it is
I am extremely disappointed that a candidate like Corey Stewart could win the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. This is clearly not the Republican Party I once knew, loved and proudly served. Every time I think things can’t get worse they do, and there is no end in sight.

Leave the party. If you really are sick of it, leave the party. Complaining on twitter isn't going to solve this. The republican party is a product of a bunch of spineless yes men who failed to act when there was a chance for reform. Now it's an extremist party. Leave it.

I left and am now a proud democrat. But this was coming long before now. The tea party bullshit ushered in people like Tang. It hasn’t been even close to my party in 10 years or more.

Agreed. Well done, Chris. We've gone far beyond the point where I thought most reasonable, thoughtful GOP members would speak out. It's horrific how many are still cheering on the Emperor's 'new clothes' when even a child can recognize his stark-naked abuse of power & position.
