I am glad that Mr. Kurzweil is alive. We didn't see him active on the net anymore, I feared the worst. Thank you very much for this interview! Kurzweil is one of the precursor thinkers of transhumanism.

I agree I was very worried about his obvious absence lately as well!! It would be very sad if he didn't live long enough to witness his predictions

I think Kurt was underdressed for the interview. Lex looked and thought sharper. Kurt lost me when he said that machine consciousness will be there if you believe it’s there. That’s very unscientific, to say the least.

That’s because there is no scientific experiment to prove consciousness exists. It’s a purely philosophical discussion.
