that's great! while you're at it, could you de-synchronize the buttons repeat? it makes sense for directions (repeating diagonals), but it doesn't for dir+actions and even less across all players inputs!

Good point. Certainly for players / actions, but also repeating diagonals having per-button delays doesn't feel any worse (or likely to cause breakage), and is easier to understand.

Heeey, this was much worse than I realised -- I didn't notice this means btn() was firing a frame later than it needed to. Yikes! Thanks very much for bumping that! (both fixed for 0.1.12d)
