    The more Swift I do the more it feels like my Obj C code is technical debt. Eg Swift enums lose all their value when you are calling them from Obj C

    Here's are some possible details on how the scam I almost fell for works. Extremely sobering and scary. (Thanks, .)

    "That's an up and coming attack. It works by having a native English speaker make the calls. They take a set of 5000 phone numbers and run them through the Trello API, which spits out the customer name an address. Next you Google them, see what they do for a living, and make a calculation if they do or do not have money to steal. Next you pay $2 (tops) for their SSN."

    Creating apps isn’t free. Independent developers who charge for their work are rarely greedy. In fact sometimes they’re just trying to break even.

    Rule 0: decide whether your app needs to be optimised based on real world usage

    Rules of optimization: 1) Design for performance from day 1 2) Profile often 3) Be vigilant on performance regressions 4) Understand the data 5) Understand the HW 6) Help the compiler 7) Verify your assumptions 8) Performance is everyone's responsibility

    Removing a tiny but hugely annoying edge case 👌

    The app review nightmare is over!!! In iOS 12 beta 2, iPhone apps no longer run at 3.5" display ratio on iPad, so you'll no longer be pulled up by app review for not designing for the *iPhone 4S*.

    In iOS 12 notification centre, tapping on the icon in the top left doesn’t open the app any more. Anyone know if this is a bug or intentional?
