Strategic goal #1 for me is growing more good habitat for ecosocially aware mutualist humans, in a way that’s clustered and webbed across suitable regions, under some newly common narrative conventions.
And even as the weight of baggage begins to lift, it seems to me that questions about “who do I want to commit to living with” and “how should we behave together” might be human-complete

e.g. it seems that a non-zero amount of willingness to compromise for the sake of group cohesion is needed, but too much compromise is also bad because it leads to groupthink... and finding that balance is something each person has to do for themselves

And the shared values that cohere a group are not only intellectual, but maintained by ritual, charisma, passion—and then the people most capable of that are at risk of misusing that power
