While Andrew Yang does a better job than most politicians at assessing the challenges we face, it doesn’t change the fact that a UBI scheme will either: - Generate broad inflationary pressure, if unconditional. - Require extreme centralization of moral calculus, if conditional.

To be more specific, they are top-down vs bottom-up introductions of inflationary pressure into the system. Though I’d venture their dynamics are largely convergent in terms of failure modes.
