My parents were at my apartment to visit, and li’l kitty Phoenix brought down his mouse toy. My mom went to pick it up and throw it for him, but it wasn’t a toy, it was an actual mouse. Phoenix was *so proud*.

Going stir-crazy from having COVID so I’m working on my adaptation of Frost/Nixon called Frost/Nixon: Deep Dive. It takes place entirely in a swimming pool and the props are strapped to flotation devices. Frost and Nixon have a stand-off on a diving board (Nixon jumps first).

Not that people don’t see theatre, they do, it’s more I’m used to a process of work wherein you do a thing intensely for months then it’s done, it was seen or not, on to the next thing. Bizarre to realize, “Oh God, people will see who I was then and not now for maybe FOREVER?!”

Had just the nicest group of early 20s lads for my last escape game - they were so respectful and polite whilst still bro-ing out. They were clearly sports dudes who were so happy to solve puzzles together, and it was lovely. ❤️
