I thought it would be this eye-rolly heavy-handed pro-women in stem pre-tween book when she first told me about it, but it's lovely and quirky and fascinating. It's written in verse and also in java (!)

Just finished @AimeeLucido's Emmy in the Key of Code, on the recommendation of my 9 year old (after I made a boolean logic joke at dinner; she is reading it in school) and it is really really good.

@onigame and I can both recite that haiku from memory 16 years laters and I now live near a Kelly-Moore paints and I think of that poem every morning as I pass by. Does anyone remember who wrote it?

After a weekend spent reminiscing with Left Out, I'm wondering if anyone remembers the origin of the world's best Game haiku (from the Genome Game applications), that so eloquently captured the universal experience of fighting over clue site navigation

Also I have no idea if HC normally visits teams off campus, but I had a total blast doing Loonie Toonie visits at ET and with (mushroom)(curling iron) even after trekking through the cold. You guys were a blast.

I’m very tired, but immensely proud of the whole Hunt. My favorite puzzles (aside from the ones I wrote): Ox, Refreshment Stand, Concierfe Services (could seriously listen to those calls for days... and I did - still funny), penny park guide, the Safari Meta, the Wizard’s Escape.

I’ve never been at MIT for Hunt before (unapologetically, we are, after all team Left Out - west coast solving is our thing); it was a little overwhelming (but rewarding) to get the full local experience at once. Learned that all odd numbered buildings are west of the Bush room!
