Their transfer record over the last few years has been absolutely horrific, hundreds of millions wasted on the likes of Coutinho and Griezmann, who ever is in charge of transfers is definitely a Madrid fan.
Not saying it's not been a waste, or Ryan Sessegnon wouldn't be the same...... But Coutinho and Griezmann to be fair, were top of their games in their respective leagues so made sense at the time. It just so happens it hasn't worked out at Barca?

They keep buying players that just don't fit them, Coutinho and Griezmann were never Barca type players, it's honestly like they have been panic buying the last few years, reactionary buys to appease fans.

Yeah that's a fair shout. On the other side though all those fans need to be appeased somehow, and in all honesty when these players are available and wanting to play for the club it'd be hard not to? Bit like a Pepe or Lukaku.
