Just a general point. Does anyone looking for tickets ever say 'please? If I gave a spare it's only going to a person who can be polite etc. Rant over.
Is please the only form of manners you'd accept? Or is "Thanks," "appreciated," or "cheers" not good enough?

‘Please’ would be good. If you had been approached by as many people as I have over the years for tickets you would expect a ‘please’ or a ‘thank you’. It happens very rarely.

I can understand that, but is 'please' and 'thank you' the only means of gratitude? Only asking as you specifically targeted my tweet even though I said it 'would be much appreciated' if someone could help me out.
