My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

Their deaths were a direct result of his decision to rob the armored car for his own personal benefit. Was it not?

The way that murder works is that someone kills another person, in this case with a gun. Boudin's father was not armed and did not kill anyone. Hope that clears things up for you.

Objectively true, actually. Unless it's murder for hire or a throw mama from the train situation.

That’s great Boss. My law degree is from Berkeley. Yours? You reject Felony Murder and Conspiracy as crimes. That’s great. Some people reject Abortion and Marital Rape. Let’s all just make up whatever we want and try to impose it on each other.

I didn't reject conspiracy. I just reject crimes not actually committed by the person being charged. I don't think that's crazy. I guess going to cal doesn't make you smart, huh?

No. Not being smart makes you not smart. Conspiring with others to commit a crime and acting in furtherance of that conspiracy IS a crime. The crime you reject. You are not smart. Sorry.

I've been very clear about this. If someone commits a crime, like armed robbery, they should be charged with that crime. In fact, I specifically said I don't reject conspiracy as a charge. Did they not have literacy standards at Berkeley fifty years ago when you applied?
