All of YouTube is the illusion of a creator/viewer driven platform. The reality is that it makes them no money, so we are starting to see the influence of "old media" style content seeping in. Rewind full of cable talk show hosts. The over sanitation of everything to a G rating.

Essentially, they are now confident enough to let the mask drop and openingly become what they always wanted to be. The ABC/NBC/CBS of the internet.
