I'm tired of people I respect(ed) supporting the idea that debates on my existence are a matter of free speech. I'm tired of the people saying I shouldn't exist portrayed as victims. I'm so so fucking sick of the term "cancel culture." It's called "accountability."

The compass never did work right. Joe said it had to do with majicks and poor trees but Sef didn't care. The way the little arrow danced between stars and lightning bolts was majicks enough.

It was not unknown in those days for a surreptitiously hand to tip the scales one way or another. While there were suspicions abound, proof was less so, which led some to question the true purpose of the system at all.

This may or may not be a disturbingly specific account of my life (if you add in also being one of the underpaid, untrained PhD students totally winging it).

You just let it play out and file form 23B when it's over. They tend to run out of steam pretty quick. Definitely after a few decades. Here's your ID. Don't lose it. There's a replacement fee. That's you all set then. Good luck!"

"Now this bridge is totally your responsibility. That means whatever happens here is on you, but feel free to run it whatever way works best for you. Sometimes the neighbours cause a ruckus, come out with fire and things.

The villagers, the trees knew, didn't really understand what a monster was, else they would have been much more concerned about the moon that guarded them each night.

They called the creature a monster, but the trees knew better. The creature had been among them longer than any other living thing and only six times had it shown any signs of monstrosity.

On the day the fountain filled with flowers, Moira was walking from the castle with more uncertainty than when she'd arrived.

Many tried to retrieve the flower. They shot arrows and scaled walls. They tunnelled and bombarded. But the walls remained and those that did make it inside, well. It's best not to speak of them.

Why do I look at the Daily Mail? I know the titles are just clickbaity. I read them & I think that exact thing. And I keep thinking that as I click the link and read the article. & you know what I think afterwards? Why do I look at the Daily Mail?
