11 years ago when I started , everyone told me it would fail. Fairly paid humans in the AI loop? In Africa? W/ global clients? SO proud of the dream team that got us to a $14.8M Series A led by to power the training data revolution!

This photo of the #tickfire is haunting. How many heroic firefighters will have to risk their lives, how many acres will have to burn, how many families will have to lose their homes before the US takes serious climate action?

Today is an extremely difficult day, the worst day—and I’m heart-broken and devastated. We learned this morning, without any warning, that our primary funder is cutting off all charitable giving and that our board is shutting down @PacificStand, effective next Friday.

“We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language. That may be the measure of our lives.” RIP Toni Morrison. Your light shines on in your words.

Marvin, a 32 yr old man from El Salvador, died in front of his 8 yr old daughter this morning in a CBP detention center. The mother of their child is not yet reunited w/her grieving daughter. This is the 8th death in CBP custody in 9 months. RIP, Marvin, Via -

How many potential medicines will we lose in felling the most biodiverse forest on Earth? And for what — cattle farms and timber? This is pure stupidity.

The numbers in this story--and their implications--are truly terrifying. It echoes this week's story of Trump drilling in the Arctic Wildlife Refuge. Acts of nihilistic vandalism, just for the sake of $ and of showing who's boss nytimes.com/2019/07/28/wor

CBP is detaining *American citizens.* How would you feel trapped in a border camp, where guards wear face masks because the human odor is so strong? When we allow the rights of some to be violated, the rights of all are not far behind.

Access to medicine & diagnostic tools for orphan diseases is a human right. Yet thousands of people around the world diagnosed with my rare cancer, epithelioid sarcoma, don’t have the resources I do to fight it. Thanks for sharing this story 🙏🏽 #sarcomaawareness

My latest: @leila_c is a tech entrepreneur in a male dominated world, so she's learned to advocate for herself. But nothing could have prepared her for the battles with the health care system as a patient with a rare cancer: cnbc.com/2019/07/13/can

My family was told to “go back where we came from” in the years after my parents came here from India. Had all Indians followed this advice, there’d be no Microsoft or Google. Immigrants and people of color have built this country, and we aren’t going anywhere.

THIS is what racism looks like. WE are what democracy looks like. And we’re not going anywhere. Except back to DC to fight for the families you marginalize and vilify everyday.

“The success story of women’s sports shows how marginalized groups can be given opportunities through policy interventions.” Thank you, #TitleIX, for this #USWNT, and for giving all girls the opportunity to follow in their footsteps. 🇺🇸 #FIFAWWC
