On this 4th of July we acknowledge the gap between our nation’s ideals and the racism that pervades our criminal legal system. While we create new polices, expand language access, and end the death penalty in San Francisco, we continue to fight for our ideals.
The chart on the left doesn't show the numbers or scale. What is the dotted line on the right and why is SF the only city that has one? Index of 2 for what kind of crime and why is it cropped? I analyze data for work. These are all intentionally manipulated to paint a narrative.

I'm happy to take a look at the data, but I need to see the actual sources. Considering SF ranks 55th in the nation for violent crime, the "2" index is particularly fishy. Probably 2 for property crime, that I believe, but it doesn't say, just says "Crime index".
