On this 4th of July we acknowledge the gap between our nation’s ideals and the racism that pervades our criminal legal system. While we create new polices, expand language access, and end the death penalty in San Francisco, we continue to fight for our ideals.

One isn’t a troll to see and acknowledge what his office’s policies and decisions have wrought, despite his stated intentions. Ending the death penalty in SF? The last person sentenced to death here was in 1991 & resentenced to life w/possibility of parole by Boudin last year.
