Get off social media & get to work! There are victims out there of all types waiting for their day in court to have their dignity, safety & sanity restored after its been stolen from them, some by extreme force! The backlog of cases isn’t shrinking w/ you dancing on FB/Twitter!

Actually
@chesaboudin has made incredible progress at resolving the backlog of untested rape kits, and charging sexual assault cases that had laid long dormant. Happily Chesa, can be effective at multiple goals beyond his priority of violent crime.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
You mean the $7.5 mil D. Chiu, N. O’Malley & C. Leyva secured in the state budget to fund the effort in 2018 before him? BTW, how’s the hunt for your
going? I’m sure you worked arduously to buy it. I know others worked as hard for their property esp while earning minimum wage.pic.twitter.com/mycOC0kwSY

Sure, my vehicles have been stolen 9 times in 3 years. No sign of my bike yet, I'm more concerned about violent crime, and the epidemiological risk from mass incarceration than I am about my property.

Doesn’t this bother you Paul? Any arrests or prosecutions on any of those 9 times in 3 years when there was no epidemiological risk from incarceration?

Honestly no, I think the costs and horrors of mass incarceration as currently created are worse than the thefts that occur. The SFPD caught someone riding my bike a few years back, I refused to testify or provide evidence for this reason. Mass incarceration is criminally unjust

Do you lock your doors? Someone arrested for stealing your stuff repeatedly is A-okay because prison or jail isn’t perfect? That’s like being a turtle on its back.

I buy locks, but jail is 85000 * 5 years at least, I am uninterested in inflicting that cost on society over a cheap motorcycle.

So not testifying that someone actually did in fact steal your property repeatedly, means they continue to victimize others until someone else decides to testify against them in the hopes of putting a stop to their behavior?

It’s all going to be expensive Paul, and people aren’t prosecuted en mass, rather one by one, as they should be with the merits and severity of each case decided on their own.
