Do you have to prove the stop was “pretextual” and racist? Or is just one metric sufficient? What if an illegal weapon is found? Does it get returned?

Yes, it should be evidence based and reasonable, always. We can assume whatever we want but the current DA’s zealotry, disposition and outlook isn’t wise or reasonable.

We don’t know what “most voters” think b/c ranked choice voting, so he won by fewer than 3000 votes & in the 3rd round, with 50.8%. SF doesn’t have “mass incarceration”, but it does have squalid areas of un-prosecuted crimes and drug dealing like the TL & the human misery there.

It has little to do with me or what my friends think.
I grew up in Oakland, and SF problems were baked in back then, and generations of politicians - our current gov - pledged to fix them decades ago. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Jim Jones had tons of local support too, FWIW. How’s that?3 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
Lots of cities have these kinds of areas, but don’t have the billions to throw at the problems and have nothing to show for it simultaneously like SF keeps doing. If it’s not working, stop digging. Stop pretending that it’s helping.

At least arm yourself with a few facts. Google “SF homeless spending” at a minimum. A billion to
@SF_HSH & selected non profits directly in the last four years alone, hundreds of millions more for first responder services. Nice try with the Trump swipe.

Budget signed this week is $13.6 Billion. What will its residents get in return? More of the same?
