    Kids in what looked like dog kennels. Children using space blankets as a cushion or cover for privacy. What I saw at the processing center was shocking and heartbreaking. We have to keep speaking out about this inhumane treatment.

    "They look like the way you construct a dog kennel" -- this is what told about what he saw at a detention center for immigrant CHILDREN.

    Really proud of the hashtag. I openly admit that I am someone who lives with depression and anxiety, but sometimes I hide just how bad it really is. The important thing to know is you are never alone, even if you think you are.

    Many are saying that Trump is doing Russia's bidding. What they mean is that the Republican leadership is doing Russia's bidding (while spouting empty words about patriotism) because they could put a stop to this in a day.

    This is simply tragic. But we need to emphasize, over and over, how much Ryan, McConnell, McCarthy and every Republican in Congress has enabled this catastrophe.

    Self care is critical

    I am learning to like participating in mundane things. It is strange how we lose ourselves when we are on survival mode. I simply kept putting one foot in front of the other w/o much thought to how I was feeling. I had no self-care built into my life.

    Anthony Bourdain had one of the only shows on tv that tried with all its might to teach Americans not to be scared of other people.
