So I don't know all the details. But isn't this whole spectacle Johnny's idea? She made some statement about being an abuse survivor, and he took her to court for defamation, for daring to say she was abused. Makes it all feel so gross.

Yeah. She wrote this op-ed in the Washington Post. Which is about domestic violence in general and doesn’t even mention Depp by name. And he’s suing her. He’s very litigious and it’s just another way for him to abuse her.

It’s horrible. I saw Drew Barrymore on her show fan girling out about how fascinating the trial was. No matter if you believe her or not the coverage has been horrendous. The mocking of a trial that involves abuse should not be taken lightly no matter which “team” you’re on

And it demonstrates how easy it is to spread misinformation. Even otherwise sensible people are buying into Depp's crap. People are just accepting what they see on social media without thinking critically about it at all. It's very concerning.
