  5. The intersection of D.B. Todd and Jefferson is one of the most interesting spaces in the city. A colleague told me that he and a group of students met there on 4/4/1968 in the aftermath of the King assassination. They were numb, angry, hurting, and trying to figure things out.

    Here's a connection between Williamson County, TN and Kansas City, MO on this morning after the Super Bowl. In 1920 Reuben Street and wife Ella Davidson (from Will Co) opened Street Hotel in KC with fine dining Rose Room restaurant and the Blue Room jazz club.
