There must have been lots of cases of people keeping their heads down and choosing to avoid fame. It is easy to envision circumstances where this would be a winning strategy. No so for avoiding food or mating (in evolutionary terms).

Under some circumstances fame would lead to more sex and food (primary rewards), under other circumstaces, e.g. being a famous intellectual in WW2 Poland or under Pol Pot, it could be fatal. How would you determine if fame is a primary or secondary reward?

You state "Primary rewards have to be shown to have been evolutionarily adaptive. And they have to be shown to subtly influence what we learn to like." References?

This is clearly a national security issue, not a simple trade issue, contrary to statements by the Danish Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs .

This is scandalous. China's ambassador to Denmark has threatened the Faroe Islands that there won't be a trade treaty unless the islands sign a contract with Huawei.
