Solving it requires finesse that regulators usually lack. But you know: I am fairly tranquil about my "cyber" risk. I am far more unsettled about the privacy practices in the industry - in part because they remain shielded from view and have not been properly "priced in". (5/5)
I usually enthusiastically agree with you.
My lack of enthusiasm on this take stems from seeing an illusion of "secure enough" over the past 20 years, & no classes of issues eradicated. Still such a gulf between those invested in security & those below The Security Poverty Line
agreed. Not sure what you mean about ppl that have unique security needs... you mean, for example, how to provide a dissident with a better security posture by just saying "use X, use Y." ?
