But I'm bummed about the USA not being there, as interest here is sure to drop off. I remember cheers ringing out in the Supreme Court building when Landon Donovan scored THAT goal in 2010

As someone who is also rooting for England this year, I think you're going to be disappointed.

I think France has a decent chance of winning it all. If you told me right now that the World Cup winner will not be Brazil, Spain, or Germany, I'd think it's got to be France. Argentina and Belgium overrated in my book.

French may be let down by their mediocre coach

Yes, though he's not the problem. Doesn't really matter if you pick Butland over Pickford or leave out Jack Wilshere. England won't have a good shot to make it past the quarters no matter what the manager does. Just not enough talent on this team.

I think Kane and Sterling are world class but with a midfield of Henderson, Dier, and Alli, who's gonna feed them?

A lot of onus on the wing-backs to get forward and create space for Sterling and Alli, I think....

Yeah, rose and walker still? Competent but not world class.

Well, Walker has improved under Pep and I would say is more than competent these days but on the left I don't think it's clear who will start as Rose hasn't played much for Spurs recently.
